The combination of a mosque, good transport network in the form of the LRT and first class housing in the form of HDB flats, paints a perfect picture of how successful Singapore is in its attempt to build a self-contained town and an efficient public transport system.

At first glance, the picture seems to depict a total dominance of urban structure with a mosque, HDB flats and a condominium. However, on taking a closer look, one would realise plenty of greenery in the foreground which provides a perfect picture of how greenery complements the urban landscape in Singapore and this is a classic example of Singapore as a garden city.
