Shophouses amidst the high-rise buildings in the central district. Not only Singapore is increasingly becoming a centre of tertiary activity, as a headquater for banking, trading, insurance and investment companies, but these preserved and refurbised shouphouses are part of making Singapore a RENAISSANCE CITY.
